The first Shanghai International Carbon Neutrality Expo in Technologies, Products and Achievements will be held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center – located in Shanghai city in East China – from Dec 21 to 24.
With an estimated floor space of 120,000 square meters, there will be six exhibition areas for energy transformation, low-carbon transportation, energy-saving and efficiency, the circular economy, low-carbon services, as well as for best practice and exploration.
The expo is seen as being an important measure for Shanghai to support China's dual carbon goals – peak carbon dioxide emissions by 2030 and carbon neutrality by 2060.
It also aims to promote the exchange and innovation of carbon neutral frontier technologies and boost the development of the green and low carbon industry.
