In order to optimize the public sports service environment, Hongqiao International Central Business District (CBD) plans to provide a variety of exercise venues in the future.
The Hongqiao Sports Park is located at No 820 Suining Road in Hongqiao CBD's Changning area and is expected to start operation in the second quarter of this year. The park has a green park, and an underground area for diverse sports.
The park is oriented towards "sports+" and aims to create a landmark new sports complex in the CBD and improve the public service level of regional fitness and the business environment.
The park's sports area was created with aerospace as the theme, giving sports lovers an immersive space technology sports experience while also providing a wealth of information about aerospace.

More than 10 different mass sports projects, including swimming pools and basketball, badminton and squash courts, are included in the Hongqiao Sports Park. In addition, professional event venues are available for basketball, badminton, squash and other sports.
Tennis courts and outdoor football fields are also being built in the park and parent-child activity programs are being created. The park also plans to construct coffee shops, Chinese restaurants and rehabilitation facilities.
The Hongqiao Sports Park's underground sports facility is currently undergoing improvements and equipment debugging, and the standard swimming pools are being cleaned. After the park opens, it aims to satisfy the sports and fitness requirements of locals, business personnel and teenagers in the Hongqiao CBD and nearby areas.
