The Shanghai Women's Half Marathon is scheduled to kick off in Linkong Economic Park on May 1.
The event is scheduled to start in front of Art Park in Changning district, and after running around the East Hongqiao Area for 5 km, runners will reach the most distinctive 6.25-kilometer outer ring ecological greenway on the route, which is known as the "Wizard of Oz" of the city.
After leaving the greenway, runners will enter the Linkong Economic Park full of modern vitality, where numerous multinational enterprises and Fortune 500 companies have settled.
The next section of the route leads to the finish line while passing through the Changning section of the Suzhou Creek Fitness Trail.

Finally, the runners will complete the sprint inside Gate 3 of Zhongshan Park. Last September, the walls of the centennial Zhongshan Park were opened and many beautiful views emerged in the Huazheng section of the Suzhou Creek.
During the marathon, runners are running on Changning Road horizontally from east to west. The route also crosses the north-south longitudinal forest belt.
