Shanghai Palcan New Energy Technology Co opened its new headquarters in the West Hongqiao Area on May 18.
The company was registered in Shanghai in June 2016, with its predecessor being the Palcan Energy Corporation, founded in 1998 in Canada by Shen Jianyue, one of the world's leading experts and entrepreneurs in the hydrogen industry.
The company has set up a technological research and development center in Suzhou, a product service center in Changzhou, both in Jiangsu province, and a production plant in Cixi, Zhejiang province.
Its settlement in the Shanghai Hongqiao International Central Business District is expected to help boost the local hydrogen energy industry.
The administration of the West Hongqiao Area will continue to improve its services for companies and aid Palcan to develop in Hongqiao and expand its business globally, said Xie Ming, general manager of Shanghai West Hongqiao Commerce and Development Co.
