A delegation led by Juraj Droba, the governor of the Bratislava in Slovakia, and Kamila Kukova, the acting Consul General of the Slovak Republic in Shanghai, recently visited Hongqiao Pinhui, also known as the Hongqiao Import Commodity Exhibition and Trade Center.
The guests visited various platforms, including the Shanghai International Sister Cities Hub, the Live E-Commerce Base, and the Hongqiao International Coffee Hub, where they learned about how Hongqiao Pinhui uses trade to empower and support the transformation of exhibits at the China International Import Expo into commodities.
Cai Jun, the general manager of Shanghai Hongqiao International Import Commodity Exhibition and Trading Company, welcomed Slovakian enterprises to participate in the 6th China International Import Expo. He expects players from Slovakia's automotive industry to participate in the Hongqiao Pinhui B Building project.
This year marks the 20th anniversary of the establishment of friendly sister-city relations between Shanghai and Bratislava. Both sides said they hope to take this opportunity to bring more Slovakian products to Chinese consumers and assist Slovakian enterprises in expanding into the Chinese market through the Shanghai International Sister Cities Hub.
