Party branches in 15 cities, districts, and counties in the Yangtze River Delta region have decided to work together to push forward the integrated construction, governance, and resource sharing in the region, according to a conference held in Minhang district, Shanghai, on July 13.
The district, along with Suzhou, its Xiangcheng district, Kunshan, Taicang, Suzhou Industrial Park, and Nantong in Jiangsu province, Jiaxing, its Nanhu district, Pinghu, Haiyan, Haining and Quzhou in Zhejiang province, as well as Hefei and Wuhu in Anhui province have launched 70 shared resources covering revolutionary culture, rural vitalization, grass-root governance, industrial development, and people's livelihood.
The sharing of public services has enhanced the efficiency of regional governance, said an official from the organization department of the CPC Suzhou Municipal Committee.
In recent years, Suzhou has been promoting inter-provincial government services, and 160 services can be done offsite in the YRD region.
The Party branches also set up a YRD think tank that comprises 75 experts in various fields, such as industrial development, urban and rural governance, and cutting-edge technologies, who are expected to contribute to the integrated development of the city cluster in the YRD region.
Lastly, the YRD Artificial Intelligence Party Alliance is a strategic partnership that has brought together over 1,600 AI-related companies to promote cooperation and development in the AI sector. By establishing seamless connections between production, education, research, and application, this alliance is driving innovation and growth in the field.
