A free exhibition themed on giant pandas opened at the Hongqiao Lihpao Plaza in Shanghai on July 20 and will run until Sept 16.
The exhibition is curated by the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum and features four sections: evolution, ecology, protection and culture.
The exhibition is meant to teach the public about the history and living habits of giant pandas through pictures, models, animations and scientific games, and to raise awareness of the importance of protecting the animal and its living environment.
In addition, experts from the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum will deliver lectures on how to feed giant pandas and how to protect the animal.
