The construction of major biomedicine projects is in full swing in Huacao town of Minhang district in Shanghai.
Wego International Research Institute (Shanghai)
Covering an area of 186,000 square meters, the Wego International Research Institute (Shanghai) is expected to be completed in mid-2024.
Expected to serve as a launch pad for Wego Holdings to go global, the institute will become the company's R&D centers for orthopaedic and blood purification, as well as headquarters for four business units: management, capital, materials and overseas businesses.
Wego will also bring its partners and suppliers on the industrial chain to the cluster to form a medical industrial ecosystem with Wego characteristics.
Yunnan Baiyao International Center (Shanghai)
Representing an investment of 1.55 billion yuan ($212.47 million), the Yunnan Baiyao International Center (Shanghai) is expected to be completed in the second half of 2024.
The 142,000-square-meter facility will become home to the company's Shanghai management headquarters, international operation center and innovative R&D center.
Innovent Biologics Global R&D Center
With a total investment of over 1.5 billion yuan and covering an area of 169,000 square meters, the Innovent Biologics Global R&D Center is expected to be completed in June 2024.
The center will serve as an integrated technology platform for antibody drug pre-development and preclinical/clinical evaluation of antibody drugs.
Shanghai New Hongqiao International Ophthalmology Medical Center
The reinforcement project of the Shanghai New Hongqiao International Ophthalmology Medical Center is in full swing. Starting from June 12, the project is expected to be completed in October. Following the completion of the reinforcement project, the center will undergo a three-month renovation.
