The Shanghai Hongqiao Golden Tulip Hotel in the Qingpu Area of the Hongqiao International Central Business District was recently opened.
The establishment is the brand's first flagship hotel in the world following its brand renewal.
The hotel is operating under the Golden Tulip brand, which was established by Shandong Energy Group and Jin Jiang International.
The hotel has more than 200 rooms and suites, a 1,500-square-meter rooftop garden, a lobby bar, a 24-hour fitness center and a 24-hour laundry room.
Wang Liang, general manager of the Shanghai Hongqiao Golden Tulip Hotel, said the hotel has a design that features a combination of Dutch and Chinese elements, and is equipped with technologies like face recognition systems and smart room controls.
Shuttle services from the hotel to the main venue of the China International Import Expo will be available during the expo period this year.
Shandong Energy Group is ranked fifth among China's Top 500 energy companies, and 72nd among the World's Top 500 companies. Jin Jiang International is one of the largest hotel and tourism companies in China. The group's hotel business is ranked second in the world and first in Asia in terms of market share.
