Aqiyi, a leading enterprise in the domestic digital economy and video industry, officially set up its Shanghai headquarters in Hongqiao LinKong Economic Park in 2018.
The internationalization of Shanghai Hongqiao has been attracting a significant amount of talent. Wang Tianyu, an employee in charge of content production at Aqiyi's drama studio, highlighted the international atmosphere in Hongqiao as one of the notable aspects of living and working there.
Wang also said she appreciated the presence of green and pet-friendly spaces in the recently-built parks of Hongqiao. "This is one of the best things about the city of Shanghai for me," she added.
Shanghai and Hongqiao offer various policies to encourage talent introduction, making it easier and more convenient for company employees to settle down in the area.
Wu Yan, human resources director of Aqiyi, noted the close proximity of the Changning Hongqiao Overseas Talent One-Stop Service Center, just 1.8 kilometers away, which can be reached within five or six minutes by car. This enhances the overall convenience for the company's employees.
Hongqiao has become a place for high-end talent to realize their dreams. As an important component of multiple national strategies, Hongqiao International Central Business District has been accelerating the construction of an internationally-first-class talent development environment.
