Panglong Tiandi, located in the Qingpu area of Hongqiao International Central Business District, has recently unveiled two captivating light-focused events. Since its opening to the public in April of this year, Panglong Tiandi has enjoyed remarkable popularity.

On Oct 26, the "Lumières Shanghai" 2023 lighting art festival kicked off at Panglong Tiandi. Titled "Bring Heritage to Life", the festival features nine stunning light installations created by international artists from China, the United Kingdom, Australia and other countries.
Since its inception in 2015, "Lumières Shanghai" has become a significant symbol of Shanghai's urban culture, establishing an international platform for artistic exchange alongside world-class light art festivals.
Spanning across the Panglong water system, these illuminated artworks spread over ancient stone bridges, plazas, green spaces, and river systems, creating an enchanting night view of Jiangnan's water towns through the use of light and shadow.

On the same day, Panglong Tiandi launched a series of exhibitions titled "Kaimu Theater" at the "Cheng's Ancestral Hall." This marks the first "Kaimu Theater" exhibition in Asia.
Drawing inspiration from classical Chinese aesthetics, the exhibition series presents immersive artworks with various themes and innovative approaches. The exhibition showcases the essence of ancient Chinese arts such as Dunhuang music and dance and the Pagoda of Fogong Temple.
Combined with cutting-edge technology and contemporary expression, the exhibition will fully demonstrate the romantic and beautiful cultural imagery, as well as the rigorous and subtle spatial creation found in classical Chinese arts and architecture. It provides audiences with a new and awe-inspiring cognitive experience.
