Shanghai launches over 60 promotional activities for Silk Road cloud products from November 5 to 20.
These activities are aimed at enhancing e-commerce exchanges between Shanghai and Silk Road partner countries and supporting the development of Shanghai's Silk Road e-commerce cooperation pioneer zone.
The promotional activities will consist of live broadcasts, product experiences, and online and offline collaborations. Various e-commerce platforms, renowned enterprises, business districts, and live e-commerce bases will participate in these events.

The launch ceremony for the Silk Road cloud products e-commerce carnival was held on Nov 7 at Hongqiao Pinhui in Shanghai. The carnival aims to amplify the spillover effect of the 6th China International Import Expo (CIIE) and promote the transformation of expo exhibits into commodities.

During the launch ceremony, four country-specific themed days for New Zealand, Armenia, Chile, and Pakistan were announced. These themed days will consist of online and offline activities and facilitate the introduction of more special products from countries and regions involved in the Belt and Road Initiative.
Enterprises such as Pinduoduo, Douyin, and Meituan have also announced a range of exciting activities to provide consumers with an immersive consumption experience that combines online and offline elements.
Additionally, the launch ceremony also saw the unveiling of the newly constructed Building B of Hongqiao Pinhui. This year-around trading platform for the CIIE is expected to expand its scope to include high-end industrial products and new industrial products in the near future.
Officials also introduced the Hongqiao Pinhui locomotive world and the internet service platform of the Hongqiao International Cafe Port during the ceremony. These platforms will enhance Hongqiao Pinhui's ability to harness the spillover effect of the expo, accelerate the establishment of a centralized display of expo results, and further develop Silk Road e-commerce.
