Located near the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai, the Broadway theater cluster in the Hongqiao International Central Business District is a part of the 1.4 million square meter "First Showay" cultural and commercial integration zone.
The Broadway theater cluster contains over 20 professional performance venues, including several immersive theaters, a 1,800-seater grand theater, a 500-seat multi-purpose music hall, three theaters tailored for different age groups, and Shanghai's first downtown green outdoor theater.
Once completed, the Broadway theater cluster will have over 10,000 seats, making it the largest and most diverse live entertainment center in Asia.
Audiences in Shanghai and the Yangtze River Delta region will have the opportunity to enjoy original Broadway and West End musicals, theatrical performances, and concerts without having to leave the country.
