Situated in the Qianwan area of the Shanghai Hongqiao International Central Business District, Qianwan Park spans a total land area of 76 hectares. It is positioned as a world-class urban waterfront central park.
The park's design features a combination of classical garden elements from both Eastern and Western traditions that creates a unique landscape pattern.
A C-shaped bay serves as the primary landscape artery, forming the two core vibrant zones of the park around Rainbow Lake and Jiyue Lake.
Within the park's three major zones — Ecological Qianwan, Cultural Qianwan, and Sports Qianwan — are 18 scenic spots. Qianwan Square, situated in the heart of Cultural Qianwan, embodies Shanghai's inclusive spirit with a modern and minimalist allure.
The park, which is expected to be completed before 2025, will serve as a link between the area's major cultural and sports facilities and open waterfront green spaces.
