Panlong Ancient Town in Qingpu district is a significant representation of Jiangnan culture. This historical place, which dates back over 1,400 years to the Sui Dynasty (581-618), has numerous ancient architectural relics and offers a glimpse into old Jiangnan.
During the renovation of Panlong Tiandi, the ancient bridges of Xianghua and Fenglai were restored and eight new bridges sporting the traditional Jiangnan style were built.
