Qingpu district, in collaboration with Lingang Group, is constructing two intelligent manufacturing space parks – the Oriental Life Harbor Qingpu Hongqiao Park and Qingpu New City Park.
The total construction area of these two parks will be more than 2 million square meters.
The construction of the Oriental Life Harbor Qingpu Hongqiao Park Intelligent Manufacturing Space project officially commenced in Huaxin town, Qingpu district on Dec 20.
Representatives from pharmaceutical companies such as Shenzhen Daphne Pharmaceutical, Suzhou Changhe Biotechnology signed intention agreements to settle in the park.
Qingpu Hongqiao Park is located in Huaxin town and has a construction area of 808,700 sq m.
The first phase of the project plans will have eight four-story standard factories and one 10-story integrated service building for biopharmaceuticals.
The park's design concept revolves around the principles of technological development, human care, and ecological environment protection. It will provide enterprises with a high-quality, efficient, environmentally friendly, and sustainable production environment. The goal is to create a vibrant, entrepreneurial and employment-friendly biopharmaceutical industrial park.
In the future, Qingpu district will further concentrate on the biopharmaceutical industry, collaborating with neighboring medical equipment companies and medical resources.
Efforts will be made to establish the Oriental Life Harbor area as the hub for production and manufacturing, research, headquarters, and office support.
The district is aiming to become a base for the industrialization of medical equipment and medical services.
