French companies like TERRAKÉ, which has its Asia-Pacific headquarters in the Shanghai Hongqiao International Central Business District, are helping forge culture and business exchanges between China and France. Having entered the Chinese market over 10 years ago, TERRAKÉ continues to experience steady growth.
In an interview, Zhang Ningjun, vice-president of TERRAKÉ China, said that the company's relocation to the Hongqiao area in 2017 and its subsequent upgrade to the Asia-Pacific headquarters in 2020 has provided unique development opportunities.
The district's transportation, commercial facilities, and policy support have facilitated TERRAKÉ's operations and business interactions, leading to the opening of its first experiential store in Shanghai. In addition, TERRAKÉ's proximity to the China International Import Expo has enhanced its visibility and recognition among the French community.
TERRAKÉ first entered the Chinese market in 2013, gaining popularity among Chinese consumers. With over 8,000 physical stores nationwide and a strong online presence, the brand has been actively promoting Sino-French cultural exchange and participating in the "China-France Spring of Culture" event since 2016.
The company recently unveiled its strategic plan for the next decade, aiming to capitalize on its presence in the Hongqiao International Central Business District and continue promoting cultural and business exchanges between China and France.
