The Neusoft Shanghai Technology Center celebrated its topping-out ceremony on Dec 2 in the Qianwan area of the Shanghai Hongqiao International Central Business District, marking a key milestone for the 2-billion-yuan ($275.02 million) investment.
The center embodies Neusoft's dual strategy to develop both healthcare and information technology. It aims to integrate the company's strengths in IT and healthcare to create a high-end tech park that balances research and operations while fostering industry convergence.
Liu Junlin, executive director of Neusoft Investment Holdings Shanghai, highlighted the strategic importance of the Hongqiao area. "Hongqiao is not just a geographical hub but an epicenter for industry and talent. The Neusoft Shanghai Technology Center will bring together top talent and industry partners to create a vibrant innovation ecosystem," he said.
The center is a key project within the Hongqiao Qianwan Biomedical R&D Headquarters Cluster, contributing to the high-quality development of the area and supporting Minhang district's goal of building a trillion-yuan biomedical health industry cluster.
Moving forward, the center will leverage the area's location, policy support, and industrial agglomeration to support smart city construction, intelligent connectivity, and digital transformation among enterprises, empowering the innovative application of information technology across various industries.
