The Hongqiao International Talent Service Center recently hosted a cultural event that highlighted Chinese springtime traditions, attracting some international families eager to participate.
Attendees had the opportunity to craft traditional Chinese kites and make panda-shaped qingtuan (glutinous rice balls) and cherry blossom green bean cakes, alongside other traditional activities.
Participants were able to learn traditional techniques and immerse themselves in Chinese springtime traditions such as kite-flying and the eating of qingtuan.
Another highlight was the plant-printing eco-bag station, where participants imprinted botanical designs onto fabric bags, blending ancient methods with modern eco-consciousness.
