The 27th edition of Bakery China took place from May 19-22 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai, connecting the global baking industry and fostering innovation and collaboration among participants.
Launched in 1997, Bakery China has established itself as the largest bakery exhibition globally and a leading platform for brands entering the Chinese and Asian markets. This year, it attracted over 2,200 exhibitors with thousands of brands from nearly 30 countries and regions.
Spanning 320,000 square meters, Bakery China 2025 served as a global hub for the baking industry, showcasing innovations in products, technologies, and business models.
More than 20 percent of exhibitors were international brands, including key players from Europe, North America, Japan, and South Korea. Emerging brands from Belt and Road partner countries also made their debuts, with a special section dedicated to traditional baking techniques and ingredients, fostering a blend of Eastern and Western culinary arts.
The event supported both international and local enterprises with its newly launched International Trade Acceleration Program, offering matchmaking services and guided tours for international buyers. Over 3,000 business meetings were expected to facilitate global trade connections.
