In collaboration with the Hongqiao Overseas Development Service Center, KPMG, a global leader in professional services, is leveraging its international network to help companies in the Yangtze River Delta region go global.
KPMG China recently hosted an event at Hongqiao Kampus to help companies adjust their international strategies amid new challenges. About 40 partners and industry experts from KPMG's overseas member firms across 19 countries attended and engaged in discussions with company representatives and investors in Shanghai.
Li Yao, a partner at KPMG China, said that KPMG chose to establish a presence in Hongqiao due to its strong support for international expansion and its comprehensive transportation hub.
According to Li, KPMG focuses on financial, tax, investment, mergers, financing, local legal compliance, and digital compliance, while the Hongqiao Overseas Development Service Center provides comprehensive one-stop services. Together they can help companies understand the entire cycle of going global and prepare for challenges.
Li added that KPMG emphasizes the full cycle of overseas expansion, from strategic planning to execution and post-investment operations. Its Global China Practice network includes local experts familiar with Chinese enterprises' needs, providing practical and personalized services.
