The Korea Coffee Festival ignited enthusiasm at Hongqiao Xintiandi in the Shanghai International Central Business District from Oct 16 to 19.
This event featured 38 premium coffee brands from China, South Korea, and Japan, alongside five local dessert and bakery brands, and marked the China debut of several Korean coffee brands.
Attendees were treated to a delightful array of masterful pour-overs, exclusive blends, and award-winning beans, captivating Shanghai's coffee aficionados. The festival offered a rich experience that combined coffee tasting, social interaction, and cultural exchange.
Showcasing 29 South Korean specialty coffee brands from cities like Seoul and Busan, the event included several champion-level brands. Five brands made their first appearance in China, alongside four Japanese specialty brands, offering attendees a diverse international coffee experience.
Amid the aroma of freshly brewed coffee, enthusiasts from Shanghai and other cities in the Yangtze River Delta embarked on a tasting journey featuring beverages from three different countries. The event fostered connections among coffee lovers, introducing new pleasures in "coffee socializing" and providing a trendy, international lifestyle experience from their "first stop" in Shanghai.
Located near the Hongqiao transport hub, Hongqiao Xintiandi effectively integrated the market scene with in-store shopping, creating a "festival-driven" consumption model. This event transformed the commercial space into a vibrant social and cultural destination, enhancing Hongqiao's appeal as an international consumption hub.
