The HUB Conference 2025, part of this year's Hongqiao International Economic Forum, will take place on Nov 6.
This year's theme, "Hongqiao, Bridging the World: Chinese Enterprises Venturing Abroad Amid Global Shifts", focuses on helping Chinese companies expand internationally.
The event, organized by the Hongqiao International Central Business District Administrative Committee, will offer strategic insights, practical advice, and empowering services.
This year's program features keynote speeches and two roundtable discussions with 14 distinguished guests, all focused on the globalization of Chinese businesses and their long-term international strategies.
Prominent speakers include Zhu Min, former deputy managing director of the International Monetary Fund, Jack Perry, chairman of The 48 Group, Li Shimo, chairman of Chengwei Capital, and Richard Baldwin, professor of International Economics at the International Institute for Management Development.
The conference will introduce new public products offering one-stop solutions for businesses aiming to go global. These tools will assist companies with everything from initial planning to establishing operations overseas.
It will also unveil a guide for Chinese enterprises going global, case studies on overseas expansion, and the Hongqiao Overseas Development Service Center 3.0. These resources aim to provide comprehensive support, from business development and talent training to trade cooperation and innovation.
