The Hongqiao International Central Business District has introduced a special underground shuttle line connecting the Hongqiao Transportation Hub with the National Exhibition and Convention Center (NECC) in Shanghai.
This service is available for free to all attendees with valid expo passes from Nov 5 to 10, operating daily from 8 am to 7 pm.
The shuttle line covers a distance of about 1.8 kilometers, starting at the P9 parking lot of the Hongqiao Hub and ending at the east entrance of the NECC underground passage. It provides a quick and easy connection between key locations, with clear signage to guide passengers.
The service reduces what would typically be a 20-minute walk to a mere 6-minute ride, easing traffic congestion and enhancing the overall expo experience.
In addition to the underground shuttle, there is also a dedicated bus service between the NECC and Pudong International Airport.
The service will run throughout the expo, providing direct, hassle-free travel and offering free storage for up to two pieces of luggage per passenger. Luggage storage is available at the NECC North Plaza, the CIIE P5 parking lot, and inside Hall 7 of the NECC.
