To streamline border procedures, China's National Immigration Administration has introduced an online arrival card system for international travelers from Nov 20.

International travelers are now able to submit their entry details online before arrival through the NIA's official website, Government Service Platform, "NIA 12367" app and WeChat (Alipay) mini program or by scanning a QR code.

For travelers who are unable to complete the online form in advance, entry information can be submitted upon arrival at immigration inspection sites at all Chinese ports of entry. They may do so by scanning a QR code, using on-site smart devices, or filling out a paper arrival card.
