Hongqiao International Central Business District (CBD) has set up a team of 108 professional service providers covering 18 core sectors to support Chinese enterprises in their global expansion, according to the CBD's administrative committee.
This service matrix, known as the "Hongqiao Map for Enterprises Going Global", offers integrated solutions across legal compliance, financial services, human resources, capital matchmaking, and risk management. The Hongqiao Global Investment and M&A Online Project Pool has gathered 1,625 overseas fundraising projects and 379 cross-border investment demands, with a total intended investment amount of $9.5 billion.
The service ecosystem has benefited numerous companies. For example, Chen Xianggui Group, a renowned noodle chain, has relocated its headquarters to Hongqiao, gaining access to one-stop services such as international trademark registration and APEC business travel cards. INT Medical, a leading medical device firm, completed its overseas mergers and acquisitions efficiently with dedicated assistance for overseas investment filing.
"Hongqiao serves not only as a transit hub for domestic circulation but also as a pivotal gateway connecting domestic and international economies, facilitating our global outreach," said Jiang Jun, founder of Chen Xianggui Group.
Hongqiao International Central Legal-services District has attracted 181 legal and related service institutions, such as Duan & Duan, which provides comprehensive cross-border guidance, and Allianz Insurance, which offers tailored policies for clinical trials and overseas projects. Additionally, Mercer assists companies in navigating cross-cultural employment challenges.
