Sorting lines at the Hongqiao Central Business District Bonded Logistics Center have been running round the clock recently, and trucks loaded with JD cross-border e-commerce commodities are arriving and leaving the center in a steady flow.
It is the first "Double 11" online shopping festival that the JD international cross-border e-commerce project has dealt with since it was established in the bonded logistics center in June.
During the shopping festival, the peak delivery period spans from Nov 1 to Nov 20, and about 800,000 parcels are expected to be delivered from the center, with the peak daily volume reaching 120,000 parcels.
