The East Hongqiao Center, or Aspire, a new commercial complex developed by China Merchants Shekou and CESInvestment opened in the Changning Area of the Shanghai Hongqiao International Central Business District (Hongqiao CBD) on Nov 25.
The center is located west of Youle Road and south of Konggang Eight Road, and is 680 meters away from Terminal 1 at Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport.
It includes airport and metro services, offices, hotels, residential areas and exhibition venues within a 15-minute walking circle, and is expected to inject new impetus into the high-quality development of the Changning Area of the Hongqiao CBD after gaining more talents and industries.
Construction of the center started in September 2018, and consists of four office buildings with a total floor area of 70,000 square meters and a shopping mall spanning 30,000 sq m.
A number of companies involved in asset management, sci-tech services, architectural design, the airline industry and information technology have agreed to set up operations in the center.
