The construction of the west extension of Shanghai Metro Line 13, passing through the Hongqiao International Central Business District, is entering a critical stage.
The first pile foundation of Beidi Road parking lot reconstruction and expansion project was recently drilled, marking the start of physical construction.
As a vital part of Shanghai's rail transit network, the west extension project of Shanghai Metro Line 13 will establish a new and efficient route connecting the Hongqiao International CBD, downtown Shanghai, and the Pudong New Area.
This will alleviate congestion at the National Exhibition and Convention Center and further elevate the quality of rail transit services in the Hongqiao area.
