Against the backdrop of Shanghai's construction of the pilot zone for the Silk Road e-commerce cooperation and the international trade center, the Qingpu Area of the Shanghai Hongqiao International Central Business District, relying on the comprehensive advantages of the year-round trading service platform of the China International Import Expo — Greenland Global Commodity Trading Hub, released the first enterprise development plan under the Silk Road e-commerce framework on Jan 9.
In just over a month, Greenland Group signed contracts on Feb 19 with globally renowned enterprises such as Mindray Medical International Ltd, Kazakhstan-based Integrity Prosperity Group and South Korea-based DAYOU Group, coming together to advance the joint construction of the Belt and Road Initiative and facilitate the overseas expansion of high-quality Chinese products.
This marks the rapid implementation of the first batch of business achievements under the Greenland Global Commodity Trading Hub's Silk Road e-commerce development plan.
The plan covers seven areas: livestreaming, physical markets, overseas cooperation, exhibition organization, international exchanges, entrepreneurship training and case studies, highlighting key nodes of the commercial industrial chain. It aims to create a world-class public service platform with the largest number of countries, the most e-commerce and livestreaming categories, and leading the rankings in transaction volume, services and number of jointly built overseas warehouses.
Many overseas merchants at the Greenland Global Commodity Trading Hub have also responded positively to the Silk Road e-commerce plan, expressing their intention to cooperate.
For example, the Nepal Pavilion hopes to establish a Chinese Commodity Exhibition Hall in Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal, to promote the export of Chinese electronic products, electromechanical equipment and other goods, the Syria Pavilion plans to advance cooperation with the hub in overseas warehouse construction and medical equipment export, and the Pakistan Pavilion seeks to cooperate with Greenland to jointly expand the export of Chinese new energy vehicles and parts, as well as photovoltaic products.
