Under the theme of "New Tech, Smart Future", the 89th China International Medical Equipment Fair, or CMEF, will kick off at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) from April 11 to 14, attracting industry leaders and professionals to bring about a convergence of wisdom and providing an exchange platform for the global health industry.
The overall exhibition and conference area of the CMEF in Shanghai is to exceed 320,000 square meters. The event will attract nearly 5,000 enterprises from over 30 countries and regions to showcase tens of thousands of niche products, and is set to see over 200,000 visitors during its run.
The CMEF will set up exhibition areas for medical imaging, in-vitro diagnostics, medical electronics, medical optics, smart health, hospital construction, operating rooms, medical consumables, orthopedics, and logistics management, all of which are current hot topics in the industry.
Tens of thousands of innovative products are to be displayed at the event, including cutting-edge technological items in areas such as artificial intelligence-assisted diagnosis, telemedicine, precision medicine and smart wards. At that time, top-notch products such as vascular intervention surgical robots, single-port endoscopic robots, quantum brain magnetic imagers, phased array microwave knives, and robot-guided CTs will be prominently presented, ushering in a new wave of innovation in medical technology.
Meanwhile, the deep integration of "internet plus" technology will be another highlight that will reconstruct the medical and health service system. The CMEF will exhibit a series of medical service solutions based on internet platforms, presenting advanced technologies for telemedicine.
For example, from various perspectives such as remote diagnosis and treatment, electronic medical records, mobile healthcare and cloud-based big data analysis, the event will comprehensively demonstrate how internet is reshaping the current medical service model, thus improving the quality of medical services and optimizing the allocation of medical resources.
