The Minhang area of the Hongqiao International Central Business District (CBD) welcomed global leading food supplier McCain Foods (Shanghai) on April 25, as it set up its office at the Hongqiao Import Commodity Exhibition and Trading Center.
At the inauguration, company representatives expressed their commitment to establishing "Greater Hongqiao" as the preferred location for the company's future business development and operations, marking the start of a new chapter for McCain Foods in the area.
McCain Foods, a global family-owned enterprise, is a major player in the global market, with one out of every four French fries globally coming from its products. With its top ranking in the 2022 list of the Global Top 100 Food and Beverage Companies and a consistent presence in the top 10 global food brands, McCain Foods brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the region.
"Shanghai is a beacon of China's opening-up, and the Hongqiao Import Commodity Exhibition and Trading Center in the South Hongqiao area is a platform for concentrated display and trade. The entry of McCain Foods into the Hongqiao International CBD is expected to further enhance the area's status as a hub for international business and trade, contributing to the ongoing economic and industrial development of the region.
