The 9th Belt and Road Summit was successfully held in Hong Kong from Sept 11 to 12. Representatives from the Business Division of the Hongqiao International Central Legal-services District and several legal service institutions in the district attended the event as part of the enterprise delegation organized by the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce and the Hongqiao International Central Business District Administrative Committee.
The delegation aimed to leverage Shanghai's advantages in professional service aggregation, deepen exchanges, and enhance cooperation between Shanghai and Hong Kong in the realm of professional services.
For the first time, this summit set up an exhibition area showcasing Shanghai's professional service offerings. A range of Shanghai professional service institutions with international service capabilities, including enterprises from the Hongqiao International Central Legal-services District, in fields such as finance, accounting, law, logistics, human resources, and consulting, promoted themselves.

On Sept 11, a roundtable exchange on professional services of Shanghai and Hong Kong was held. Representatives from enterprises within the Hongqiao International Central Legal-services District, along with over 20 other professional service institutions from Shanghai and representatives from more than 10 Hong Kong professional service institutions, engaged in discussions and exchanges.
During the event, the delegation presented an overview of the Hongqiao International CBD in terms of strategic positioning, current development status, and future development directions. Showcasing various support policies of the business district, the delegation rolled out the red carpet for Hong Kong professional service institutions looking to set up operations in the district.
