Four enterprises have announced plans to settle in the Hongqiao International Low-Altitude Economic Industrial Park, located within Shanghai's Changning district.
The announcement came during the park's official launch at the Hongqiao International Economic Forum, which was held from Nov 5 to 10.
Founded in 2012 and headquartered in Changning district, Gdat Group is among the four companies. It is an influential low-altitude economy service provider specializing in helicopter sales, leasing, operations, and training.
The company has the world's largest fleet of Airbus H225 helicopters and holds the largest global order for the Airbus H160 model.

With bases in Suzhou and Ningbo, the group focuses on services such as emergency rescue, short-distance transport, and medical evacuation. It has set up a leasing business in Ireland. Its subsidiary has also received approval to operate abroad.
The low-altitude economy includes various industries centered on civil-manned and unmanned aerial vehicles below 3,000 meters, including manufacturing, low-altitude flight operations, and integrated services.
According to data from the Civil Aviation Administration of China, it is projected that by 2025, the scale of China's low-altitude economy market will reach 1.5 trillion yuan ($206.47 billion), increasing further to 3.5 trillion yuan by 2035.
