Shanghai has identified 35 enterprises as trade-focused headquarters in 2024. This recognition is in adherence to the guidelines laid out in the "Several Opinions on Encouraging Enterprises to Establish Trade-Focused Headquarters".
Among the newly recognized headquarters are two companies with investments in the Hongqiao International Central Business District, namely Trina Power and NIO.
The selection process involved applications from enterprises, preliminary reviews by district authorities, and final approval by the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce.
