The Qianwan area of the Shanghai Hongqiao International Central Business District is set to welcome a new landmark shopping mall - Qianwan Incity MEGA.
The mall, which began construction in February 2023, achieved full structural capping on Jan 21 and will open by the end of this year.
Spanning 260,000 square meters, the complex aims to be a commercial destination that combines a modern marketplace with natural elements, providing consumers with a relaxing and pleasant living hub.
It will feature a mix of indoor and outdoor commercial spaces designed to cater to the needs of quality-conscious families and young consumers. The development will house over 350 brands, offering a diverse range of experiences related to urban fashion, outdoor sports, gourmet dining, quality living, family growth, pet-friendly spaces, and social leisure. This comprehensive, one-stop vacation shopping experience is tailored to a diverse, global customer base.
The Qianwan Incity MEGA, along with the already operational 48,000-square-meter Costco China flagship store and the 110,000-square-meter Hongqiao International Business Center, will form a massive 400,000-square-meter super complex. This triad will encompass all aspects of life, work, and retail, establishing a new commercial landmark that integrates shopping, entertainment, cultural exchange, international business, and leisure.
