While participating in the Shanghai CME International Machine Tool Exhibition, a delegation from Vietnam's Association of Foreign Invested Enterprises (VAFIE) recently visited the West Hongqiao Business District to explore opportunities for industrial collaboration.
Representatives from West Hongqiao provided the delegation with a comprehensive overview of the business district's industrial landscape and its notable achievements during a government-enterprise dialogue.
Nguyen Mai, president of VAFIE, emphasized the involvement of 28 Vietnamese companies in the CME exhibition, noting that they have reached preliminary cooperation agreements with companies from around the globe.
Mai outlined their vision for collaboration, focusing on four key areas: utilizing government support to connect with Chinese industrial associations, establishing channels for technology transfer, further integrating with the Yangtze River Delta supply chain, and leveraging West Hongqiao's exhibition platform to expand into the Asia-Pacific market.
The event aimed to capitalize on the spillover effects of the CME exhibition, fostering in-depth exchanges with participating enterprises and enhancing their commercial cooperation with West Hongqiao.
