The Auto Shanghai 2025, China's largest annual auto show, is currently being held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) in the Hongqiao International Central Business District.
This year's event features over 360,000 square meters of exhibition space and hosts nearly 1,000 renowned enterprises from 26 countries and regions, setting a new benchmark in terms of both scale and global participation.
A key highlight is the new exhibition area focused on automobile technology and the supply chain. Companies in Hongqiao such as Bosch, Magna, iFlytek, Freetech, and CARIAD are showcasing their latest technological advancements in the area.
The show presents approximately 1,300 vehicles, with more than 70 percent being new energy vehicles (NEVs), reflecting the industry's shift towards sustainability.
Over 100 new models are making their global debuts, including pure electric and hybrid vehicles, showcasing the sector's innovation and the integration of cutting-edge technologies with intelligent automotive solutions.
