G-Hub, a trade service platform for the China International Import Expo (CIIE) in the Shanghai Hongqiao International Central Business District, is strengthening trade ties between China and Serbia through innovative initiatives.

By hosting on-site festivals and online livestreaming events, G-Hub has successfully promoted Serbian products and expanded cooperation into sectors like exhibitions, retail, and tourism.

Since opening in 2018, G-Hub has become a key player in trade innovation, hosting 68 national pavilions, including Serbia's. The Serbian Pavilion, launched in 2020, showcases specialties such as honey, wine, and jams. It has hosted over 20 events in an effort to foster cultural exchange and trade.

In May 2024, G-Hub organized the "Into the Fairytale Kingdom by the Sava River" Serbian product launch, followed by the Serbian Wine Festival in July, introducing eight new wines. These events have significantly raised the profile of Serbian products in China.

G-Hub's livestreaming service, G-ONAIR, has hosted events like "Roaming the Danube", which saw Serbian diplomats and wine experts share insights into Serbia's culture and winemaking. Partnerships with restaurants and retail outlets have further integrated Serbian wines into the Chinese market.

The collaboration has been bolstered by the new Shanghai-Belgrade direct flight, enhancing logistics efficiency and promoting deeper economic ties. This year, nine Serbian brands debuted at the "Greenland Global Pavilion" during the Langfang Economic and Trade Fair, bringing high-quality products to Northern China.

Looking forward, G-Hub aims to continue leveraging the CIIE platform to expand the market for Serbian products, creating a "fast lane" for trade and amplifying the expo's benefits.
