German material handling solutions provider Jungheinrich recently announced the launch of its new brand AntOn by Jungheinrich in Shanghai.
The company says the new brand represents the next generation of intelligent material handling solutions. Its products will be manufactured using China's advanced supply chain system and distributed globally through Jungheinrich's sales network.
China's supply chain system — known for its completeness, efficiency and innovation — is widely regarded as being an essential force in supporting global industrial development. Jungheinrich said it recognizes the trend and is embracing the "With China for Global" cooperation philosophy.
Nadine Despineux, Jungheinrich's global chief sales officer, announced the establishment of the Jungheinrich Global Original Equipment Manufacturer Center in Shanghai — emphasizing the company's commitment to leveraging China's robust supply chain resources for the global market.
At the launch ceremony, Jungheinrich signed a cooperation agreement with China's EP Equipment, a Hangzhou-based supplier of forklifts and components. The partnership aims to deliver efficient intralogistics handling equipment solutions to global customers.
Lars Brzoska, chairman of the board of Jungheinrich, expressed optimism about the partnership. "We look forward to the powerful combination of German engineering and Chinese industrial strengths to shape a better, smarter and more sustainable logistics industry," he said.
The collaboration between Jungheinrich and EP Equipment is said to set a benchmark for global cooperation by combining China's agile and scalable supply chain capabilities with Germany's engineering expertise.
Both companies are committed to providing cost-effective intralogistics solutions, reinforcing their dedication to innovation and customer satisfaction.
