Excitement is building at Chinese multinational software and IT solutions provider Neusoft Corporation, with construction now in full swing of the new Neusoft Shanghai Technology Center — located in the Qianwan area of the Hongqiao International Central Business District in Shanghai.
Launched in October 2022 with a 2 billion yuan ($278.5 million) investment, the 177,000-square-meter facility aims to be completed by 2026 and be operational by 2027.
As Neusoft's strategic hub in East China, the center will focus on developing high-end medical equipment and IT service innovation. The goal is for it to become a leading digital medical R&D center, boosting the region's growth.
The project will integrate Neusoft's key resources to create a platform for R&D, operations and industry collaboration.
It will feature specialized labs and testing platforms for MRI, CT and radiotherapy equipment — aiming to advance domestic medical imaging technology.
Neusoft also plans to develop a health management platform using AI, cloud computing and the internet of things — creating a new ecosystem for smart medical services.
Besides medical technology, the center will host automotive electronics, fintech and edtech units, promoting industry collaboration.
Founded in 2011, the group focuses on IT, healthcare and education. The Neusoft Shanghai Technology Center is set to become a key part of Neusoft's strategic upgrade and a hub for industry collaboration.
