The Shangri-La Group is set to open two new hotels near Shanghai's Hongqiao transportation hub — the Shangri-La Hongqiao Airport and the Traders Hongqiao Airport hotels.
Trial operations begin in September, with an official opening scheduled for late October. Bookings are now available.
Located in the Hongqiao International Central Business District, the hotels offer easy access to Hongqiao Airport's Terminal 2, Hongqiao Railway Station, Metro Lines 2 and 10 as well as the Airport Link Line — making them ideal for business and leisure travelers.
The Shangri-La Hongqiao Airport hotel will feature 91 luxurious rooms and suites, while the Traders Hongqiao Airport hotel provides 520 modern, efficient rooms.
Both hotels share two restaurants, offering a mix of Chinese and Western cuisines. Guests can also enjoy a fitness center with a yoga studio and an indoor pool, along with nearly 3,000 square meters of event space.
