The Hongqiao International Central Business District in Shanghai recently signed a strategic partnership with Lockton China — part of the world's largest independent insurance brokerage — to support local businesses in their quest to expand internationally.
The agreement, signed on Aug 18, aims to combine the Hongqiao CBD's resources with Lockton China's expertise in risk management to help companies navigate global markets more effectively.
Founded in 2008, Lockton China offers a blend of local and international risk management services, leveraging its extensive global network. The partnership will seek to utilize these strengths to assist business enterprises in their overseas ventures.
The Hongqiao CBD plans to boost its Hongqiao Overseas Development Service Center by collaborating with more professional institutions like Lockton China.
The goal is to streamline the cross-border flow of goods, capital, talent and technology.
