China Eastern Airlines has upgraded its domestic "Shuttle Service" by adding complimentary basic in-flight Wifi on select widebody aircraft.
Effective immediately, passengers traveling on "Shuttle Service" routes, including Shanghai Hongqiao to Beijing Capital, Shanghai Hongqiao to Guangzhou, and Shanghai Hongqiao to Shenzhen, can enjoy free Wifi when booking Premium Economy or Economy tickets in fare class N and above.

The move extends China Eastern's free Wifi coverage, which had previously been limited to First and Business Class passengers on widebody aircraft.
The basic package supports messaging, browsing, and other light online use throughout the flight, while higher-speed Standard and Premium Wifi options remain available for purchase for activities such as streaming or video conferencing.
