During the 8th China International Import Expo, how can visitors quickly get to and leave the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai?
To answer that, this guide is structured in two parts — arrival and departure — and covers five transportation options: bus, metro, taxi, self-driving (parking lots), and customized shuttles. Below is the section focusing on traveling by taxi.
How to Enter the Venue Quickly
During CIIE, there are five designated taxi drop-off points around the NECC. These are all "drop-and-go" zones, meaning taxis can stop briefly for passenger drop-off only.

Recommended walking routes
1. From P0 Parking Lot → East Entrance
Take the elevated walkway from P0. Walk west along the walkway to reach the East Entrance of the NECC.
2. From P1 Parking Lot → West Entrance
Walk along the pedestrian passage toward the junction of Zhuguang Road and East Xumin Road. Ascend the elevated walkway, walk east, and you'll reach the West Entrance.
3. From P6 Parking Lot → East Entrance
From P6, ascend the elevated walkway and walk west to reach the East Entrance.
4. From P8 Parking Lot → East Entrance
From P8, ascend to the elevated walkway and walk west to the East Entrance.
5. From P15 Parking Lot → NECC
You have two options:
(1) Walk: From P15, cross the steel bridge and pedestrian underpass to reach the North Square and North Entrance.
(2) Shuttle bus: Take the shuttle from P15 to P5 Parking Lot, then use the elevated walkway, walk west, and arrive at the East Entrance.
How to Leave the Venue Quickly
To help visitors leave efficiently, the P6 Parking Lot on the east side of the NECC serves as the designated taxi pick-up point during CIIE.
Operating hours: Daily from 1 pm to 8 pm
Recommended route from the venue: From the East Entrance, walk east along the elevated walkway to P6 Parking Lot. Descend the stairs to the taxi waiting area, where taxis are available for boarding.
