Shanghai has launched its citywide Global Taste in Shanghai 2026 festival, a year-long international culinary promotion. The festival got underway on Jan 9 with its European Flavor Season, whetting taste buds while bringing some Continental flair to the city.
The Hongqiao Import Commodity Exhibition and Trade Center (Hongqiao 365), known for showcasing products from the China International Import Expo, is playing a key role in the festival, as it aims to offer Shanghai residents and visitors a taste of various flavors from around the world throughout the year.
During the opening of the European Flavors Season, Hongqiao 365's booth presented a wide range of European specialty foods, including aromatic Italian coffee beans, smooth Belgian chocolates, elegant French wines, and flavorful Austrian liqueurs.
Additionally, Hongqiao 365's Shanghai International Sister Cities Hub has set up a special section for the European Flavor Season, inviting everyone to explore and enjoy some of the best dishes the world has to offer without ever leaving Shanghai.
