A four-year partnership was signed on Jan 11 to bring the ITF World Tennis Masters Tour to the Shanghai Hongqiao International Central Business District.
This international tournament, designed for players aged 30 and above, has expanded rapidly in China. The number of tournament locations has grown from just two in 2022 to 30 by 2025, covering over 20 provinces and cities across China. Participation has also skyrocketed, with more than 15,000 players from 20-plus countries.
Buoyed by comprehensive support, including policy backing and resource coordination, the Hongqiao CBD is committed to making the ITF World Tennis Masters Tour even more of an influential event on a global level.
