The Shanghai Global Innovative Medical Device Exhibition and Training Center (GIMET) was inaugurated in the Hongqiao International Central Business District on March 3, marking a significant step toward the city's goal of becoming a global leader in biomedical innovation.
This international platform is dedicated to the full lifecycle of medical device innovation, aiming to boost the growth in the biomedical industry. It is designed to be a prime venue for launching cutting-edge medical technologies in Shanghai.
At the launch event, industry leaders like GE Healthcare and Siemens Healthineers showcased advanced imaging equipment, surgical robots, and intelligent diagnostic systems, emphasizing the center's crucial role in the global medical field.

With 19,000 square meters of exhibition space, the facility will host debut events for innovative medical devices, reinforcing Shanghai's influence in the biomedical sector.
