A special event on digital marketing services for companies expanding abroad was held recently in the Shanghai Hongqiao International Central Business District, attracting nearly 100 enterprises.
The event was jointly organized by the Shanghai Federation of Industry and Commerce and the Shanghai Data Administration. It focused on helping companies address challenges in overseas customer acquisition, global branding and cross-border data compliance.
Yang Xubo, deputy director of the Hongqiao International Central Business District Administrative Commission, said Hongqiao is developing an overseas development service center and improving its digital service network to support companies' international growth.
The event introduced Shanghai's pilot program for international cooperation in the data sector and launched a digital marketing service package for companies expanding overseas. It also brought together multiple service providers to offer solutions in AI marketing, localized operations and cross-border e-commerce.
Experts shared practical experience in AI-powered marketing, global brand building and overseas marketing strategies. A one-on-one consultation area was also set up to connect companies with professional service providers.
Organizers said the event created a platform combining policy guidance, expert sharing and business matchmaking, helping companies better explore global markets.
