More than 60 one-person companies (OPCs) have joined the Hongcheng OPC Community in the Shanghai Hongqiao International Central Business District since it opened in March.
The community was jointly launched by the Hongqiao International Central Business District Administrative Commission, Minhang district government, Xinhong subdistrict and Hongqiao Alibaba Center.
For many one-person businesses, the community offers more than just a desk — it provides a place to work, connect and explore new opportunities.
The Hongcheng community provides 76 workstations and six offices, along with meeting rooms, a roadshow space and leisure areas. Workstations are available at several hundred yuan a month, with support services available for startups.
Its convenient location near the Hongqiao transport hub makes business travel and client visits more convenient.
The community also offers cross-border broadband services, as well as business resources, government services and market-based operations to support OPC entrepreneurs.
Entrepreneurs can access activities and other resources from Alibaba, while Xinhong subdistrict provides services such as business registration, taxation, intellectual property and social security support.
